DeepSec 2015 Schedule is almost stable & BSidesVienna CfP Deadline

The schedule of DeepSec 2015 is almost done. We’re still reviewing submissions and talk to authors. We are confident to call the schedule stable soon. Until this happens, we will describe the presentations and trainings with a little more detail here. Take a good look, but don’t wait too long before booking a ticket. The workshops can only accommodate a limited amount of attendees. Don’t miss the opportunity! We also like to point out that the Call for Papers for the BSidesVienna event is ending on 15th September 2015! If you have interesting content, please submit!

BSidesVienna 2014 – Call for Papers still open

BSidesVienna is back! And the organisation team is looking for talks. BSidesVienna was started in 2011. There were some smaller BSides-like events in Vienna in the past two years. BSidesVienna 2014 is planned for the 22 November 2014 (right after DeepSec 2014). The call for papers will close on 30 September 2014, so if you have interesting stuff you want to show onstage, then submit it to the BSidesVienna team. You can’t keep a good con down… so let’s have fun and infosec talks at BSidesVienna 2014!

BSidesLondon 2014 Rookie Track Videos

We are back from the BSidesLondon 2014, and we had a great time. It was good to meet everyone to get some new ideas and to work on old ideas too. The Rookie Track was a success. We had a hard time deciding which talk was best. We managed to find a winner which will be invited to attend DeepSec 2014. Congratulations to Georgi Boiko! BSidesLondon and the Rookie Track

DeepSec is actively supporting the BSidesLondon conference this month. We are joining the panel of mentors of the rookie track, and we’re looking forward to see a lot of interesting talks. Specifically we support the BSides London “Rookie Track”, and we offer a ticket for DeepSec 2013 including two nights at the conference hotel in Vienna.
